I love the super thickness of OD2, but love the tighter palmmutes and articulation of OD1. I've been doing some scratch tracks in OD2. I'm going to record the same ones in OD1. For live I've been using OD1. Decisions decisions. I'm looking for two SB25's 16OHM if anyone is looking to part with two.

if you use OD2 and want things to tighten up, stick a boost up front and run it as a clean boost. that seems to help a lot.

Yeah I have an SD1 with the tone mod, but I really prefer not using a boost. You use OD1 don't ya?

While I think OD1 and 2 each have their own place for use, I feel that lowering the gain a little and then boosting OD1 can give the extra saturation OD2 gives but without quite as much added lower end girth.
