Hi, ive been away a while(broken pc) but i have a horror story to share. We had a big gig last saturday and while unloading the van the worst happened---my Quickrod dropped about 4ft and smashed into the ground!!My face was a picture, anyway got set up asap to test it--nothing!! no sound.I had the back off checking tubes etc put it back together--nothing!!The place is starting to fill and im panicking big time!I just started from scratch and checked my whole set up,it ended up being a patch lead in the effects loop! I could feel the relief flowing through me.Anyway we did a storming gig and had a couple of guys grilling me on the Quickrod. The first thing they said was, where the hell did you get that amp?Anyway im heading off now for a gig tonight and i will not let go of my Quickrod this time!!

Man thats a scary scene. I dropped mine back in March too. It was fine. Luckily it wasn't hot so I did no damage to the tubes. I dropped it right off the back of a 4-12 about 3 feet. Thank god the stage was carpet, so it didn't even leave a scratch on it and it worked fine. These things are built solid.

You are lucky.... I sold mine a few months ago and shipped it UPS and it was delivered with a busted case.
