Hello All,
I tend to be more of a rack player, y'know pre-amps and power amps, and I noticed that Scott doesn't make any pre-amp'ed versions of his gear. I'm curious if we could generate enough interest to encourage Mr. Splawn to seriously consider the idea? Your input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Manoopee

I noticed when I submitted this poll my vote was cast for the "nah" option. That is not correct as I'm in favor of the idea. This response is to correctly place my vote.
Thanks,

another issue with this is, doesn't the tone change depending on what power amp you would use?...that would affect your tone

I like the idea - I think it would open the Splawn world up to many players who prefer a modular rig and/or other power sources.

but if you're getting a splawn for the sound of a splawn then you're working against that with a rack unit

IMHO, Lets leave the rack stuff to the other companies and keep the Splawn amps as they are perfect!! Less is more and this = better quality.

I couldn't do it. too much crap in the signal chain. chords going from amp to pre-amp,,,, yuck. Plus I think the characters of a really good amp is the relationship between the preamp and poweramp section and how they work together to acheive a certain tone.
