should I splurge and get the 4x12 cabinet...LOL....
they're only 10" taller...which would still probably fit in my trunk...
ARGH! what to do what to do...I dunno if I wanna get into luggin' that monster around...but I have no doubt it would sound better
oh, and will I get charged tax as well?

good...tax is the enemy...LOL
I'll be gigging out....we're breaking in a new drummer but we'll be gigging out in another 5-6 weeks or so (he picks up quick), maybe two months..probably 3-4 times a month...
I have a 2003 maxima with a pretty good sized trunk...think a 4x12 will fit? oh, how heavy are they? a ton more than the 2x12? as long as they're not so huge that I can't get to the handles..

My band gigs fairly regularly and I have a Marshall 4x12. Sounds good but the size is a major drawback. In my opinion, a 2x12 will sound just as good as a 4x12. Maybe not as full sounding. If you're playing small clubs and such a 2x12 will work great AND you will save your back. Not to mention when you load your gear into the club. You don't want to be all sweaty before you hit the stage Just my 2 cents I am getting a QR with a 2x12. Nice compact little powerhouse.
