ok,
i think we've come up for a date for SplawnCon '08...looks like it's going to be the weekend of OCT 17/18/19...this means we'll all get there friday the 17th...the con will be sat the 18th...and they'll run us out of town on the 19th.
need to just check this date with scott...will get back to you soon on this

Dallas, NC. Last year we toured Scott's shop then went a few minutes up the street to a nice music store for the amp test drives... |

A couple of us us got there early and hung out. After the "conference", we all went to dinner (those of us that remained in NC)...it was cool! Josh from Scott's shop was there.....
It is an awesome time. No drama...except for goofing on each other........it was all amps and guitars all the time!!
Many of us also hung in the hotel and played guitars etc...

ok, so nothing's going on friday? just everyone checking in and getting pumped for saturday? getting plane tickets is a big pita. either that or a 15 hr drive...

Man I was sooo looking foward to this but Im not gonna make it.
Since this is furniture market week we already have customers requesting us on Sat and Sun. Another reason is my wife leaves for the Philippines on Monday for a 2 month stay.
Oh well, I was looking forward hanging with everyone after the Con this time coz last year I left early for the Van Halen show.
Look foward to the vids and hopefully SplawnCon 09 wont be on market weekend.

Sorry guys,
I'm not going to make it either. Too much going on with my work to get away for the weekend. I will definitely be there for the next one. Already getting money put aside for next year. Hope you guys have a H*ll of a time. I will miss being there. Hopefully next year I will have my new guitar business up and running and I will get to bring a few samples with me.
