that's what I figured =) just thought I'd share
what I like about the clip is not so much the gain (which is good) but how smooth the mids are....I like smooth mids....

Man that was great. I really love to hear someone play who can use vibrato, string bending, and phrasing to sound interesting instead of just playing fast. We all loved that clip and he didn't even play anything fast until the end of the clip. Very Cool tone as well. I feel sure that the Quick Rod can pull that off with no problems.

yeah, that dude's great isn't he? if you take away the file name, it'll bring you to a whole bunch of clips by that guy..playin' all kinds of different stuff...
it seems to be the same kinda setup as the QR...EL34's, etc, etc
