 Yeah, Ruby is like Groove tubes. They rebrand everyone else's tubes after they test. Sell like the ones they consider superior. Screen print and label them and bang. It's a ruby. Which is okay if that's what it takes to get a better sounding tube.

Hey correct me if I am wrong, but I just did some reseach on the tung sol el-34b's and they are russian made, in the same plant that makes the mullard re-issues and the new svetlana tubes. The reflecktor plant in russia owned by the New sensor corporation. They turn out like about 6 lines of tubes in the same plant.

Guys try them in the QR please! hey LC, here's a thread I started over at HC that i'm updating as I experiment some more. I recently added some finding about the 9th gens in the QR that you might helpful.
