Well I have had my Quick Rod since June 20th.I bought it used but it is not very old. It was delivered with a busted head box/bent cap/etc. Thanks UPS. Bummer. So it sat at UPS waiting for them to inspect it for claim damage for a little over a month. Bummer. Now for the good news. I did get a chance to check it out and crank it up to make sure it was functioning properly, etc. It was. ;D Now I have it back and have been cranking through it for about 2 weeks now and I must say I love this amp. It is everything I want and love and have been searching for in a Marshall style amp. Chunk and Girth come to mind when asked to describe it. The best high gain Marshall tone I have ever had. And Scott has been wonderful helping me with the amp and my endless questions.I can't say enough about the way he treats and helps anyone with a problem or question about his product. Thanks Scott!!!!! And I was worried that it wouldn't have enough gain............hahahaha........................ Axemane

I`m glad you got the amp cranked up and enjoying it. But UPS WTF! That`s a bunch of BS! I`ve heard horror stories about UPS and I`ve been lucky to not encounter any. Guess what , my Quick Rod is gonna be sent through UPS and more than a little nervous!

if your amp is being shipped new from Splawn you really have NOTHING to worry about...Scott packs that thing like a MOFO with bracing and tons of bubble wrap/styrofoam...trust me - it's gonna take you 30 minutes just to unpack it....it's packed that well...

You should have no problem. And for what it is worth it was packed well and it was insured,so all is well in the end. The main thing is I finally got my Splawn.
