TJ, You could pull the current hard drive and buy a new one. Save the old hard drive and try to pull the stuff off of it once the computer is up and going again. D Ok well here's my dilemma. My computer got nailed with a virus the other day. I've been trying to quarantine it but have been unsucessful in doing so. I might have to reformat everything and lose all my recordings. Bummer!!!! I was going to remix down those tracks and take out the guitar lines so we could play them live but that's looking like it's not possible at this point. Crap!!! But wouldn't putting the old hard drive that's infected still be messed up? I'm not understanding what you mean. Craig half step down is for singers who usually have no range. I don't have that problem. My singing is almost better than my blow jobs. LOL!!! I RAWK BI.........OTCH!!!!!!!!! |

It depends on how far gone the drive is and the virus that you have. A lot of viruses only affect system files. So you could get the system up on the new drive. Get a rock solid/updated anti-virus software loaded...Pray...hook up the old drive (I buy external enclosures and plug them in with the USB) Get your files off. Then reformat the old drive. Then you would have a backup drive for all your “impotent” files... D TJ, You could pull the current hard drive and buy a new one. Virus? whats a virus? Oh right,, thats what you Windows guy get sometimes. Tuning standard is uber-ghey when playing anything rock or Metal. Maybe it sounds ok when your playing SLim Whitman and Jerry Reed licks out by the barn.. agreed...but alas, I have to be in standard for my current band...I still hate it =( |

My worst band situation was a touring band that did all funk and disco stuff. They had horn and keyboard parts sequenced and we tuned down a half step. Everything was in the fcking horn part keys! I had long and crazy solos in every song and they were all in fcked up keys like Eb Major, F# Major, Bb minor.. keys that like no songs are in.. it was so annoying but it really made me see the neck better for improvising.

I wish I could make this thing guys. Doesn't look good though. I'll hold off on the final word for now...but it's not looking good. My predicitons: Craig and TJ win the 3 legged race!
