yeah, now i mostly do just programming and the mechanical drafting part of it. i ran lasers for years though.

I'm not with your company,but Belmont I am. I live in Taylorsville NC. Right up from Catawba County. I'm looking to move or commute to a new town for a job. The job market here does not look so great. You got any suggestions? |

As I recall you could throw a rock and hit the Community Center from Scott's shop. Dallas is a bodaciously small town. I don’t think it will recover from the Splawn Convention. Better bring your bail money. D Hello all of Splawnville! I spoke with Scott this morning for a while. Scott is thrilled with our upcoming convention. What he has decided is that because his actual shop is kinda small, he is going to rent out a community center that is two blocks away. This way there will be enough room for gear etc. His brother has two large smoker machines for smoking/BBQ'ing food etc. Scott said that if a bunch of us get there on Friday, we can tour the place, hang out etc. I offered the forum's help in anyway that he may need it. We may help him move various pieces of gear to the community center. There may be a need for some people to "shuttle" people back and forth between the community center and the shop. He plans on having QR's, Nitros and a combo available at the community center for everyone to try out etc. He is thinking that he may get some form of backing tracks or something for us to play along with... He has been in touch with "the Daves"...McNaught & Mansel....he is hoping that they will join in. Scott also mentioned that he is hoping to maybe debut his own guitar that weekend. Scott and I said that we would keep in touch and I would update everyone as often as possible. If anyone has any more ideas about how we can add to the weekend, please chime in! Scott mentioned that because we will either be at the shop or at a community center, "Splawn forum members gone wild" can't really occur...ok, he didn't say that exactly, but he said that there is another forum member (Manopee I think - please tell me if I am wrong) who has kinda offered up his house/area for some fun. I told Scott that we all talk big, but that really we are there for meeting him, seeing the amps, meeting each other etc. He was totally cool. There is what I have so far....more to follow. |
