Hey all! What effects do you commonly use with quickrod? Both live & @ in hiding?

Well, I'm sorry but I think effects are a waste of tone. I don't use any. I think they take away from the sound of the amp, band and song. Unless your in a studio, theres no use for them since nobody can hear them through the PA anyways.

if i'm covering a song like, let's say pink floyd's "time"...that has delay in the solo...then i'm going to use that delay setting in my solo... ;D
the cab's miced so you can hear it through the pa...

I'll give you that, if your playing something slow with lots of open space a delay can be heard. But I laugh my @ss off when I go see a show and some kid has a rack full of stuff and it sounds likes hes playing in the mens room sink... LOL.

But there is always room for the crybaby - I love these things ;D

I am glad to hear this since my effects are limited. But there is always room for the crybaby - I love these things ;D Both of the clips I made on the Splawn site are recorded 100% dry. No pedals or effects were used at all. I added a hall reverb to the bluesy clip, but I added it to the whole track in Cubase.
