I have a G-Major that I'd like to use to keep the amp on 3rd gear.
If possible I also wouldnt mind switching the OD1/OD2 using my g-major.
I dont need to use the solo feature as I can program volume/solo boosts with my G-Major.
I have a stereo 1/4" cable that Y's out to two 1/4" mono cables. I also have a stereo 1/4" cable.
I know how to use the G-Majors relays to switch channels/modes on other amps.... I just dont know what the jack layout is on the splawn and it has no lights on the head to tell me what mode/channel its on.
Anyone know how I can set this up so that my G-Major has my amp on 3rd gear?
Is it possible to do with the cables I have?
Or do I need a custom cable made since the g-major has 1 stereo jack for the relays and the competition has 2 stereo jacks for switching?

I'm not sure...but I would venture a guess that picking up a GRX4 from Axess Electronics would do the trick. What are you using for a footswitch to control the G-Major? As a point of reference, I used a Behringer FCB1010 into the GRX4 into the G-Major to control my Road King. Worked like a champ.

Ya.. I dunno either since I cant switch gears with the QR, Call Splawn and ask which tip ring config does what switching would be the best way

I called Splawn. The layout of the two 1/4" jacks on the Competition are:
Jack A tip is for the solo boost function Jacl A ring is for the OD1/OD2 function
Jack B tip is for the mode function
