I received the Competition Thursday night (today is Sunday). I think the highest compliment is for me to tell you that I've been playing it so much this weekend that my fingertips are sore. The sound of this amp is incredible and everything I hoped for. And the new speakers aren't even good and broke in yet! Also, hats off to Scott Splawn. I had a minor issue and he's given me outstanding customer service. Thanks to all the Splawn crew!

I just jammed with a drummer and we both had huge grins our faces after the first song. The amp sounds amazing and really cuts through! From classic rock in 1st gear to heavy stuff in 3rd it does it all.
Yeah, I'm happy!

itsnt that just the greatest fun! the splawn knows its place ! haha ya.. drummers always seems to notice! I dunno why bass players never notice except turn it down hahahaha

drummers notice a good amp when they can actually hear what ur playing and not just the sound of cymbals ringing in there ears!
