Hello All, I am a new Splawn forum member. I just wanted to say thanks to those of you who have posted and answered questions about these amps, and especially those who have sent in soundclips. I ordered a Quick Rod today and am VERY excited about it! Although I'm sure that they are worth every penny, this is not a cheap amp to buy (when you haven't even seen or heard one in person) but I feel very confident that this is the amp I'm looking for.

Hi Shawnee,I know how you feel,i ordered my Quick Rod 4 weeks ago so it should be here soon,I live in the uk so i will have to pay import tax and Value added tax on mine thats 10%+17% of the value of the amp,but i want one so i am willing to pay it,i agree that this forum and the soundclips have made my mind up...

Hi, I'm obviously new to this forum and Spawn Amps, but after some research I ordered a Quick Rod last week myself, and a 4x12 cab yesterday!!!!!! My QR will have the Pro Mod box in red with the silver pipeing, as will my cab!!!! Always liked how the red marshalls looked, so this will be way cool!!!! Not to mention, this amp will blow the marshall away!!! I dig small amp companies, who hand build their amps, so you know you are getting a great product!!!! Scott was cool when I talked with him, and listened to every stupid question I asked.
Later!!!!

Just wanted to say to Craig, I can hear where people are telling you that you have a Paul Gilbert type of tone!!!! The QR is a mix of early VH, Lynch, and Gilbert, but with more guts!!!!!!! The video of Al Estrada playing Spanish Fly really is a testament to that tone. I can really hear that Gilbert shred in there!!!!!!!!! The crazy thing he is just on the OD1 channel/OD2 must just melt your fretboard!!!!!!!
Thanks!!!!

Thanks man, I consider that a huge compliment. I have absolutely no problem admitting that my 3 biggest influences are Lynch, Gilbert and EVH. I don't even try to rip them off, it just happens naturally,, LMAO. Oh well.
I think you'll be extremely happy with your amp. If your anything like me at all, you'll never even look at the other stuff you have once you switch. Everything else is just weak compared to the Splawn.
Also FYI, Scott will be just as accessible and friendly after you get your amp. Hes sent me additional footswitches and has been extremely helpful to me in building my new guitar. It just doesn't get any better than this guy. I buy everything from him now.
