I felt bad hijacking Zappatista's thread so I thought I'd start one for that topic. Hacksaw my wife would never go see those types of flicks with me either. I went and saw "The Hills have eyes" by myself. Good flick. Kind of slow in parts but nonetheless a good remake of Craven's classic. Shred is right "The Devil's Rejects" is awesome! you can pick up both at Best buy for like $10. Super deal. ;D The 80's horror flicks (for their time) were great. I still think Friday the 13th part IV was a good one. Nothing like seeing a young shaved headed Cory Feldman hacking up Jason with a machete. DIE! DIE! DIE!!! LOL!!! I still laugh out loud when I see that part.

The chick in the movie is half human and half vampire...so, she is able to go between both world and really kick arse. The funny thing is during the fight scenes. If someone gets impaled or cut by a sword, the blood practically explodes out of their body.....y'know, totally realistic, huh? During one scene you can see the compressed gas shooting the blood all over the place...cool, huh?

I still think one of the best sci/fi horror flicks of all time is "Aliens" James Cameron is a genious and that is one movie I never tire of watching. Anyone remember that flick in the early 80's "Happy birthday to me" That had some great scenes for an 80's slasher flick.

The Thing was a killer flick! Escape from New York was pretty cool. I don't know? Donald Pleasance standing on the wall at the end shooting Issac Hayes with an m16 screaming "You're the Duke. you're A#1" That was a little over the top for the President to be doing dont ya think? LOL!!
