some of those 80's horror flicks were just great. Return of the living dead was great. When the two guys breathed in those fumes and they were dying while they were still alive. When she sits one of the guys upright and you hear all his bones cracking from the rigimortis that has already set in. Just priceless!!! Sorry to hijack the thread!! Hacksaw check out the Rob Zombie movies "House of 1000 corpses and The Devils Rejects" Pretty intense ficks! that's the acme guy! the same SOB who built the neighborhood on top of the indian burial ground in poltergeist! he got what he deserved! =)

Hey! To Hacksaw, I know the exact scene that you are talkin' 'bout! The guy carrying his own head around, wanting to perform some sort of unspeakable act on that girl. In fact "Ain't Talking About Love" could have been that guys' theme song!. I think that scene could be the single most demented movie scene ever!
One more word on those XTCs. And I spent 8 years getting to know it, so I'm not just spouting off here. I told Scott that it's almost like they are over-engineered! The power section on an XTC is extremely tight sounding, but It's also a little cold sounding. I figured this out when I patched the XTC preamp into my Marshall DSL power section. It sounded better to me, because the Marshall actually warmed it up. I'd never really thought of the Marshall as being warm sounding until I did that experiment! But yeah, since used Marshalls can be bought for around $800-$900.00, I don't think the Bogners sound $2700.00 better! Allthough, I'm not sure what $2700.00 better would sound like!
Well, I'll be glad when the QuickRod get here, so that I can start talking about that amp. Guess I'll go kill some of my waiting time with some old 80's horror flicks and VHI!
Oh yeah, I've checking out everyone's clips on the Splawn web site, and on everyone's individual sites. They all sound great. There's alot of great players out there, I hope you're all getting heard!

To Hacksaw, Yeah, I can crank up the amps at band rehearsal. WE have a really bad acoustic space the eats Bass frequencies, and alot of times I'm cranking more in that basement than I do on stage.

RRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNGGGGG! That's what my ears sound like when I'm trying to sleep at night. It's worth it though.
I saw Ted Nugent on Sesame Street once, giving a demonstration of how feedback works. He was telling the kiddies how it was worth the trade off of being deaf in one ear for having the pleasure of inducing ear splitting feedback on the masses. How true Ted, How True.
Nice potential AVATAR, that's funny!
