So my bandmates (We've been together for about 6 weeks) had this idea a few weeks ago, to do an open mic night at this little bar in town, which was last night.. I was told I didn't need to bring my amp, they usually have a couple little Fender amps on stage to play through.. “Just bring a distortion pedal.”… I don’t even own one! So, needless to say… I wasn't that thrilled about this little outing..
But when I arrived at the bar, the guys rush up and asked if I brought my amp.. there's only one amp in the place.. I told them no, but it'll take me about 15 minutes to go get it.. Now I'm pumped!!!! I grab my buddy and we rush back to my place and get my amp.. We get back to the bar and as I'm pulling my amp out of my gig bag.. I overhear some dudes sitting nearby say. "Splawn?".. (I love that!) We played 4 songs and everything went well. Afterwards, We got a lot of compliments.. My buddy said the amp sounded friggin' great.. I was so happy to use the Pro-Mod.. It completely made my night!
The bass player's wife shot some video.. Hoping to get a hold of it so I can post some clips..
Thanks for letting me share

Well, I finally finished putting in the new pups.. All I can say is WOW!.. The pickups are perfect.. I love tone of the neck position.. and I feel like the tone control knobs are actually useful now. I also noticed I had to turn up the gain on the amp more.. which I'm thinking will allow more harmonic overtones. Before.. After.. Check out the difference in the caps.. I'll really like my tone better when the strings are a day or two old.. That's when I'll know how I feel for sure.. but so far so good! Thanks for the tip Shred!
