A few things before I get back in my boat and row back to the Isle of Patmos...

I had Scott convert my QuickRod to a ProMod and it has much more bottom end! the mids are a little more 'fizzy' though not in a bad way, just not as smooth as the EL34 QuickRod. Throaty/darker...you know the drill.. Does the Metallica thing in a HUGE way! The amp still does VH with no worries but it has MUCH MORE potential for modern/new metal. I just purchased a wild painted Satriani JS2000 and am in the process of changing the bridge PU to a BBQ as I LOVE 'Motrock's' clips with his BBQ'd Mansel and QR! I'll row back here in a few weeks and tell ya'll how it works out...

Craig, cool Les Paul! it looks almost identical to the one I just sold on ebay, a late 60's Deluxe cherryburst...the solos on my clips were pretty much done with that guitar it didn't have enough 'guts' for me though so I sold er'...

Be cool bros, I check in every few days and read what's up...I'll check back in a few weeks/months if anything new happens..

Congrats on the Pro Mod (pseudo) Jim! I thought Scott wasn't doing mods anymore? What did he do change the transformers and a few resistors before putting the KT88's in?

Very cool Jim, glad to hear from you. glad you found the combination you may have been looking for.. very happy for ya... in a pro-mod sorta way haha..

btw.. gallbladder removal was the best thing... man I can eat everything in site and feelin great. and I have many lortabs left over ;-) LMAO
