I moved to the ghetto, little Mexico, an apartment about 15 minutes from my old house in Toms River. I's just a poor white boy! We have a little down time as well. No shows till April 22. I'm starting to pick up some now. See my post in Music Talk! I'm real bummed about the CD. Its dead in the water because the drummer is a bum and can't get a job and I am strapped after moving. No more jamming through my amps!  I just bought a PODxt used on HC so I will be able to play electric in my apartment. That's going to take some getting used to!!! |

funny, we don't have a gig till that weekend either..21 and 22nd...I like it, but hate not playin' out all at the same time...lol
can't use the amps cause of the apartment situation?

Because I was living back with the parents!  I needed to get out and I wanted to move in with my girl. I hate not playing too. I miss cranking the Splawn! We finally played that show at the Stone Pony and they made me use their schit amp...an Ibanez solid state Tone Blaster!!  WORST AMP EVER! Beyond useable, noisy as an atom bomb, muddy, unclear, buzzy, didn't cut through...ect...I could go on and on about how horrible it was. If I turned the gain past 1:00 the buzz was louder than the whole band. AHHRGGG I don't even want to think about it because there wa great crowd there and it was so annoying. That's twice since I have had the amp that I couldn't use it at important shows. I think I have only played out about 4 times with it in the 5 months I have had the amp! Anyway, we still rocked the hell out of it and the kids in the bands that won came over and we're praising us! "You guys are actually talented!" LMAO. It was a contest for kids and kids won it, what are ya gonna do? They can have the Bamboozle tour because I hate the bands on the bill anyway. I have my Rivera combo, but I'n afraid of getting kicked out of the apartment! I can hear the guy cough upstairs so I can imagine how loud my amp would be. I'm sure in a few months I'll be firing up the Rivera and getting knocks on the door. ;D |

Si necesitas ayuda platicando con tus vecinos, no me llames! Busca a un jilipoyas y dile que te ayude con la idioma y di a los vecinos un gran abrazo de tu parte y que se los informe que te gusta el rock y vas a tocar y hacer ruido hasta los cojones!
