You know, in my situation I have learned to do one thing......stay healthy! I work out, drink all the Green Tea/ White Tea I can, vitamins, don't drink/ smoke, etc. I have heard that if you are in really good health and have no health issue's, it can be easy to get insurance thats good. It seems like any exsisting health problems will lower any chance of getting good insurance!

Guys, I need some advice! I just got hired as a Graphic Designer. I won't be starting this place for another 2 weeks from now. Well, I think I am going to get screwed. Here is how it goes: 1st interview: I was told $10hr starting, no insurance for a year, and you get a raise every 90 days. 2nd interview: $10hr starting, no insurance, a raise in the first 90 days, and no raise for 6 months. phone call yesterday: $9.50hr for the first week - then $10hr after, a raise in the 1st 90 days, 2nd 90 days, and then every 6 months after. Now, the story changes every time that I talk to the guy. I feel like I am going to get screwed! What do you guys think? I wouldn't want to work for a guy who changed his mind every time you talked to him. Just imagine this scenario... BossMan: Motrock, can you help me out with this job from Shredder75? He's a special client and we've got to turn this around by end of day. Motrock: Sure. Ok, boss. **** Motrock goes to work and has the job completed 2 hours ahead of schedule.***** Motrock: Ok, boss. Job complete, what do you think? BossMan: What? That's not what was spec'd out? It really should have been done this other way. You need to re-do this. **** Motrock scratches his head and goes back to work only to complete his job by 7pm. Hey, isn't Motrock suppose to leave at 5pm?***** Motrock: Ok, boss. I've reworked the job as requested, what do you think? BossMan: Good grief son, don't you know how to follow directions? That's not what I want. You've should have done the job like this.....what will Shredder75 say about this? I could go on but I think you get the idea. I've worked for bosses kinda like what you mentioned and I would STRONGLY recommend staying away from them!!! Best of luck in your job search. Patrick

I just turned the job down. I asked the guy about the insurance first and he said his associates get insurance within 6 months but his full time employees don't get it for a year. That makes no frickin sense!!!!!!! He went on to say that he doesn't have enough employee's to do it within 90 days.....then within the same sentence he said he did it so it would make sure people stayed instead of quiting within a couple of months. He contradicted himself a couple of times! So I told him I had a better offer and I was going to have to pass. Thank god........cause I would have been screwed from day 1!

Any boss that has to use manipulation to stop people from quitting....well you get it.
