Anyone playing SWB2 online? Its my new crack. I can't get enough of it... being a huge Star Wars fan since I was 6 years old, this game is just unreal and like playing all the best battles, characters, jedi, droids from the movies, but online against 24 people at a time. Just so much fun.

I'm playing on PS2 online, but I believe I'm playing with other PS2, PC and XboxLive people. All their servers are linked up together. I notice when playing some of the hosts are dedicated PC and xbox users and we can all play together which is great for ny buddies using PC or xbox versions too.
ok.. so last night I got on and played the Mos Eisley level and finally got the Darth Maul hero. You have to get a certain amount of kills and bases captured before you unlock hero characters and I finally did last night. WOW, thats was fun playing as Darth Maul with the dual light saber,, man I'm such a geek,, LOL.

Wednesday 10th August 2005 09:04 A man dropped dead from exhaustion after playing computer games for more than two days.
The 28-year-old South Korean man known as Lee began his online session on August 3 at a cybercafe in the southeastern city of Taegu, reports Reuters.
He only budged from playing the "battle simulation games" to go to the toilet and to catch a few zeds.
After spending around 50 hours online Lee collapsed and died.
Reuters quotes police sources who said: "We presume the cause of death was heart failure stemming from exhaustion."
AND ANOTHER!! Opps!!
Just days after the first 'internet overdose', another addict has died after a marathon games binge.
The 27 year-old Taiwanese man collapsed after playing computer games for 32 hours non-stop.
Police confirmed that Lien Wen-cheng started playing at the cyber cafe in Fengyuan in central Taiwan at 10.30pm on Thursday.
At 7am on Saturday, a staff member found the man on the floor of the cafe's toilet foaming at the mouth and bleeding from the nose. "They rushed him to hospital but he was already dead," local police said.
A police spokesman stated that doctors believe Wen-cheng died from exhaustion, having remained in the same position for too long. The death highlights the danger of such intensive game-playing.
Less than 10 days ago, a 24 year-old South Korean man died at an internet cafe in Kwangju, 260km outside Seoul, after playing continuously for 50 hours.
Psychologist Peter Watson explained that playing games over prolonged periods without sleep places the body under considerable stress.
"Depending on the game, the brain is receiving [the impression] that it is constantly under attack," he said.
"We would not expect hardened soldiers to cope with a 32-hour fire fight, and yet some people think they can play these games constantly for long periods of time."

Thats crazy,, haha. Well luckily I limit my sessions to about 2-3 hours, or however long it takes to get through the 12 pack in my fridge on a non-gig night. One thing about online gaming and the internet in general is it brings ytou closer to your friends from far away, even moreso than a phone call. I love calling up my buddy in Cleveland and getting together online for some Battlefront or a Hockey game or 10,, haha. Its a blast.

think it maybe all the caffine,, soda and coffee that helped send these guys over the edge to the other side? I bet if they used The Dirrty Craigs Method they would have survived!
I used to play ATV3 until early morning hours online, its neat to end up with a crew you compete against often and get to know them. Internet sure makes the world a small place.
Hey, you guys ever been to a AmpFest? I hear they have started one here in oklahoma, chicken wire is optional
