Hey just wandering if anyone has had issues with the splawn foot switch? I am nervous by the idea of not having a seperate cable that inserts into both the pedal and the head. That way if the cable gives out, you can just swap it for a different one; plus the length is adjustable that way. I wish Splawn would switch to this style...
Also what do you guys think of the layout with the 3 channels between 2 buttons on the foot switch? Not what I'm used to, but kind of cool.... I notice when I'm on the clean channel and I arm the 2nd overdrive channel, the amp gets a tad noisier.

I think the three button switch gives you allot more flex in your switching options. I am setting up midi switching for my amps again via my gcx but in the rehearsals that I have had to use the footswitch I have really enjoyed. -Brent

Haven't had a problem with the footswitch cables at all. They don't dangle off of it at all. it's a good tight fit at the point of contact, no looseness. I had a 9 pin one for my Mesa that was crap compared to it.

In my experience the soldering inside these kinds of footswitches is very basic, so it would be easy to replace a bad cable (though obviously not during a show!)

Yes i've had, and still have sometimes problems with it. It's the jack connections, they get loosen up (unscrewed) and then the footswitch doesn't function properly. Anyone knows what can I do about it?
