Seems like lots of folks in these forums don't like V30s. Does a Quickrod go well with V30s if you like 80's Rock? I don't like the modern metal, scooped mid, bass heavy sound. What 2x12 cab goes well with a quickrod for variety music with the sound of 80's type rock.

V30's do not work for a Quickrod. Tried it. Hated it. Get Small block 25's. I have owned Big/smalls and have heard the 25's. Get the 25's. They sound really good. Scott played my Nitro through some at his shop at it sounded like butter. Repeat after me...Small block 25's....Small block 25's.

basson cabinets are great for any type of music.ive not heard a splawn cab,so no comment.
