How does the ordering work with splawn? Do you pay the total up front or do you pay half first and then the rest prior to shipment or another way? I have dealt with several custom guitar/amp builders and they are all different.

if you order it through a dealer , i.e. Josh Sage you can get it quicker than ordering from scott . Scott has reserved build dates for the dealers and you can get it built quicker .

I was gonna mention that too...I got mine in about 2 weeks from gearsourcemusic in OH. Doesn't matter where the dealer is, they can have them drop shipped I believe.

Oh, should have mentioned this earlier...through the dealers you pay all up front. But the shorter wait time was worth it, to me anyway. good luck in your choice.
