I have the time machine boost and I LOVE it. I really just use the modern side so a Katana Boost would probably be the same thing. Works very well with a Quickrod.

I've owned both the Time Machine and the Java boost. Before I even ordered the Quickrod, the Java boost was one pedal that came to mind. Les Paul's neck pickup>treble booster>Marshall type amp=bliss. I like the Java a lot because of the tone control.

Hey Phil, do you still have it? I'd like to give the Java boost a try for that exact scenario you described.

Hey Phil, do you still have it? I'd like to give the Java boost a try for that exact scenario you described. Darnit, I was just in B&L and totally forgot. Anyway Erik, I ditched most of that stuff, but I feel like I've owned them all over the years...I'm done with that game and am really looking forward to the Splawn's footswitch replacing most of my pedalboard. I DO still have some Lovepedals that you should check out though. I've got a Dragon that will ape a germ. treble booster, as well as an Eternity and a Karl.

Maybe I'm missing something, but the sound clips on the Keeley site don't sound very good. Actually, they sound horrible. Is that what it really sounds like?

No those are not Splawn clips.. Those clips suck @ss.. why would he put those clips on his site? Sounds like Mark Farner taking a sh1t backstage through a crate G-10.

alot of clips on alot of gear maker's websites friggin' suck..the celestion clips suck...the dimarzio clips are probably some of the worst..why? because if you CAN find a clip of a certain pup, it's on a friggin' professional recording!! I guess if I buy a Breed pup I'll sound just like steve vai?? lol
