Theres a commercial they are currently airing llike crazy on CNN. Its for a History channel documentary called "Dark ages". In the commercial 2 janitors are watching a "death metal" band etc.. one guy comments that they got their material from the "Dark Ages".. ok.. so the band depicted in the background has a Splawn Pro-mod looking head which appears to be in a road case and also appears to be a Splawn cab. Black with white trim. After the 3rd time seeing this I'm 99.99% sure its a Splawn half-stack.. now everytime I see it I'm sure of it.

I couldn't get a clear look at one of the amps, but I know the other one was a Peavey Triple XXX.

Dude, I saw that commercial real fast yesterday and I thought the same thing! That has got to be a Splawn. It loks like the Pro Mod shell with metal grill plate. I only saw it once but I was sure that was a Splawn. Anyone know what band that is?

The other amp looks like a rack unit...? But then again, youtube is kinda blurry.

The band is called Suffocation. It looks like the one guitarist is using a JSX and the other is using a rack and and a Mesa cab. The amp has a glare so I can't really tell but it kinda looks like a Splawn.

hmmm, this youtube clip is not quite the same version of the commercial.. strange? But that doesn't look like the Splawn I saw. Perhaps i was wrong,, sorry,, LMAO.
