Jeez, I just received my amp back in August and now this! Here I'm about to pull the trigger on buying a Ground Control switching system. This would completely make my life easier. But, I bet it's really going to raise the price of the amp.

That sounds very cool. I could see that feature coming in very handy for those who play out alot and need all the different myriads of tones mapped to footswitch banks.
I wonder if he'll keep the standard footswitch and add midi ports on the back so you could just use an aftermarket midi footswitch as an alternative....

Cool, would it be possible he could incorporate a midi module so you could have all the gears and OD1/2 on the QR midi'd too?? I have no idea if this is possible but it would be unreal.

If others like Carvin can do it with the V3 I know Scott can do it & with better quality! (How about a 3 channel amp Scott?

cool just wanted to make sure, cause sometimes if you announce it too quick it causes a resale drop, and since the release date for that hasnt' been announces + it hasn't been designed I wanted to make sure people knew it was still in the design stage! Sorry if it seemed if I jumped your case, I just like to make sure things go exactly as Scott wishes them too, he treats me great so I try to return the favor! BTW got my first cab of his in the other day, man o war and h30's , holy freakin crap it sounded awesome!!! Josh

Splawn Co. has my highest respect for a amp company. Service and personel, it doesnt get any better. (not in my 25+ yrs of buyin amps anyway! geez, I felt old writing that part!) I can only hope my new amp is far enough out build wise, that I may own a midi version! (if it works out) Rik

Is there any update as to when this may be available?
I am looking to buy a Quick Rod early next year, but would be willing to wait for the midi upgrade!
Thanks, Edward

The midi upgrade will not be happening with any of the exsisting model Splawn amplifiers, Scott is going to be designing a new model specific to midi. No midi upgrades to any other models. -Brent
