I found this write up about Scott when I was doing some research about the QR, prior to purchasing one. I'm not sure if this article was ever reference here on this forum, but I think it's an appropriate article about the history on how Splawn Guitars began. It's a great read for newcomers. Scott sure has come a long way since 1996. Sorry, if this is a replication........Chuck www.musicianshotline.com/archive/dealer_spotlight/splawn_guitars.htm

That's an interesting article. It's great to see talented people do things they love and succeed. I hope Scott, Dave McNaught, and Dave Mansel are making some $$. They all have tons of talent and certainly have my respect

I found that same article back when I was looking at buying my splawn. I dont remember it being here on the board though. I am happy Scott ( Splawn Co.) is prospering. you know in the beginning its really hard work with not much pay! Ok, so its still really hard work (a work of love) but now he is getting paid! ( I hope!!) to recover the years in the beginning!
I really need to find me a job that I would love doing. can someone make much money playing amps in a quality assurance department somewhere!? LOL play all day.. that would be great huh! ?
