First gear is still my favorite. First gear on OD 2 is just awesome! yeah, I really can get into that sound..I mess with my settings a little bit to get the bass up when doin' that as opposed to third gear when running third gear I keep the gain at around 10:30 or 11:00 and dial the bass down from where I had it when usin' first gear... I'm gonan try first gear od2 this weekend (at least for a couple songs) to see if I dig it at volume I might have to try 3rd gear with the gain at 10:30-11:00. I have my gain at 12:00 right now. Little too much on 3rd gear. Perfect on 1st gear. Seems like the louder that you get on 1st gear the more it shines!

AWESOME Pics!! Thanks for posting them!!! Glad to see the custom racks running!!
I am about the same settings as in the pics.. Lots of bass.. added a little bit of mids, I dont use as much presence or highs ( marshall v30 cabs so presence and highs are not a problem! LOL) 3rd gear rules with gain cranked! I found I like the earlier break up of the power tubes instead of later, with higher volumes the power tubes start to get it dirty, so ya gotta get loud to get that :-) oh ya! so with earlier breakup I am not running gain as high, about 2:00, that gives me a alternative in a small/medium room, motrock,, thats why I am going to try the 47's a little earlier breakup from power section.. will see what happens!

i saw them not quite a year ago. here's a pic of his settings in a small auditorium. He might have been using a ZW-44 boost.

Dam I'm jealous of all you guys that live in a heavy populated areas where you can go to live shows all the time. I would have to drive 4 hours (one way). Wells I guess thats not entirely true. We could to to some UMM PA PA UMM PA PA crap.
