scott just informed me that he finished an amp for jason todd of shinedown...i forgot to ask him which amp...
another band that i got into recently that could use a quick rod is Silvertide...great new band...cross between the black crowes and tesla...

Hello.. new to the board..
but since I'm waitin for my Splawn CAB to arrive.. I thought I'd put my 2 cents in.. Very cool to hear about Jason Todd.. and you are right.. Silvertide would be a perfect match for a Quick Rod as well.. I saw Silvertide open for Van Halen last year.. and they rock.. The lead player uses a plexi re-issue.. and we know that the Splawn can improve upon that.. Can't wait for my new cab..

Yep Jasins amp is working out great and will be on the new Shinedown cd. He got this quickrod to take the place of his jcm 2000 and run along side his deizel. I cant wait to hear the new stuff. I agree Nic from Silvertide is a prime canidate for a quickrod. He is currently using a 70s marshall major I have spoke with Nic a few time about Splawn and Im sure we will get one in his hands soon. Having these amps on the road with Godsmack and shinedown im sure will catch the ear of many other players.
