The keeley compressor makes ALL OTHER compressors look like childrens toys,, trust me. It will do sustain all night long, or can be backed off and used as a clean boost,, meaning like a boost on the clean channel. It makes any clean sound glassier and thicker.. Its a really great pedal with a lot of uses. Its not currently in my live rig, but its a great utility to have around. I agree bigtime! but its in my daily sound chain. I use it alot more than I thought I would. Tj, I pump it up and it does the chicken thing too!

Have any of you tried the Build Your Own Clone pedals? I built the 808 Screamer and the Analog Chorus kits and am now working on building the delay kit. $75.00 a kit.....not a bad price at all and they are true bypass. The overdrive kit comes with the 808 JRC4558D chip plus a RC4558P chip that they claim is used more by the boutique builders so you can swap them back and forth. You also have the option to wire the kit for symmetrical or asymmetrical clipping and can choose between a .047 cap for standard 808 tone with more midrange or a .22 cap to flatten out the mids and increase bass response. I wired mine up using the standard 808 chip, asymmetrical clipping, & the .047 cap and it sounds amazing!! For anyone interested their website address is www.buildyourownclone.com. Check em out!!
