what's in the neck? I thought that's what ya didn't like about LPs...that you couldn't get a good clean sound outta the neck (see, I remember stuff, man..lol)

Bil Jones put a BBQ bucker in my ST-III. He said that "that really woke that guitar up." He was right. Now, it rocks. Need a mini humbucker for the neck. D

That pic was from 3 weeks ago,, that club has THE SMALLEST stage of anywhere we play and I'm right on top of my amp. I'm running half-power there. The Mansel owns all my guitars, but that LP has such a cool spank to it I use it on a few tunes.

That pic was from 3 weeks ago,, that club has THE SMALLEST stage of anywhere we play and I'm right on top of my amp. I'm running half-power there. The Mansel owns all my guitars, but that LP has such a cool spank to it I use it on a few tunes. 8:30 on half power's still a pretty good volume though..pretty close to the sweet spot I had my master at nearly 9:00 at full power last night at practice..first time these people have heard the amp...their eyes were like the size of silver dollars...they're like 'man, you can FELL that'..lol I'd still like a mansel....one day..when I'm 70 and the house is paid off maybe..LOL

On the opposite side of the spectrum we play another place where I dime my lead boost on full power. THATS FUN.

Its like playing in a box.. The drums and bass are so loud I need the boost cranked to get over the band.

that's usually why I'm pretty loud at shows..cause not only do I have a second guitar player to compete with, but my current drummer beats the piss outta his set and the bassplayer must have lost some hearing function..cause he's always complainign he can never hear himself, so he's usually loud as hell...bassplayers...I'll never quite understand them =)
