Vom,i cant find that post but i just had a look at my midiverb and on the display some patches have L and R at the bottom and if you press the output button you get 1 level control,some patches have channel 1 and channel 2 at the bottom,press the output button and you get 2 level controls just set this higher and your set..i hope this works for you if not i will try and find that post again..as for the controller i used a Behringer FCB 1010 it worked fine.

I think donaldemon uses an actual volume pedal...not sure if it's a music man or what brand....It hink he puts it right in front of the amp... Yep, thats how I do it. I run the gain almost dimed (about 3 o' clock) on 2nd gear at shows. For most of the time I have my volume pedal about 2/3 cocked except for when I solo or have a heavy part where the drummer is bashing away and I need to keep up. This way, it cuts the gain a bit for rhythms and chord clarity and with a quick push of the foot I get ballz out gain. Sort of like having 2 channels that gradually change. BTW, I use an Ernie Ball 6166 Mono Volume pedal. Keep in mind that I have anywhere from 12-14 pedals on my board so worrying about the channel/OD/solo buttons on the footswitch makes things way to complicated.
