Hey TJ, If you can find a Dumble for $14k you got yourself a bargain!! I have seen them go for $20k and up! I know SRV had one that he used to record with alot. It was supposedly his favorite. Its a cork sniffer's dream:) Sounds like a joke to me! $20,000 that's just crazy! The crazy thing about them is if you could afford one then you have to buy some thing called a "Dumbleator" to run with it to get the most out of the amp. That costs additional money. Just nuts man. Thanks but I'll stick with Splawn. If you listen to SRV "Texas Flood" was done using Jackson Browne's Dumble. I think "Live at the El Mocambo" is some of his best tone. There was no Dumble to be found on that stage. It was all blackface fenders + Tubescreamer tone. Better tone for a lot less money. Wow, thanks for the $20k for the amp, now you just need this one more crucial thing to make it sound good!  OUCH I agree with you, the El Mocambo tone was amazing with just Fender's. I have heard $1000 tones sound better than $20K tones. Its just a collecter's thing, I guess. Insane, I tell ya! |

thats crazy $20k~!? I think you can get close for $1500.00,, get a DR. Z and a Keeley modded Tubecreamer. I think my next amp purchase will be a Dr. Z,, that is unless Scott comes out with something new and gives me more Splawn GAS! I think with the new axe on the way I've already put one of his kids though at least 1 year of college,, LMAO. jus kiddin.
