sanheiser EW 100 G2 system..friggin' thing rocks! no tone suck, great range and it's made outta medal, both the transmitter AND the receiver..can't wait to gig with it

Ah, you pulled the trigger huh? I have the Sennheiser EW100 too (the last predecesor to yours, not the G2)) , love it, worth every penny. I was curious what you'd think of it, see if it was the same as what I found. I a/b'd the crap out of mine while I was dialing it in, no suckage to be found anywhere. Some friendly advice, just take the time to dial in the input sensitivity to be optimum without clipping depending on your pickups, and dial the output gain to be unity as compared to a cable and you'll probably never have to think about it again. I love those "set and forget" pieces of gear!

Mark I messed with that a little bit last night...only thing I don't like is that you can only adjust the gain on the bodypack transmitter in steps of 10dB..I'm just going by what they recommended..-10 dB for passive humbuckers....I'll mess with that and the output on the receiver goin' into the amp some this weekend
