first off, I'm DONE with monster instrument cables...
secondly, I've rediscovered monster SPEAKER CABLES! lol
my amp was soundin' fizzy for a few days..I'm like WTF!! even at my gig..normally it rages all the time...well, I usually use a guitar center guitar cable...sounded fine..but for whatever reason I put in my old standby monster rock cables...anywho, that's what was doin' it...cause I wetn BACK to the other cables and it sounded better! no harsh upper mid fizziness...
THEN i reconnected the cab with my monster speaker cables..EVEN BETTER!!!
right now I'm reasearching some higher end instrument cables (cause I really need another one anyway, now that I'm not usin' monster's inst. cables anymore) that won't do this to my sound...but man, it sounds good again =D

Shreder, Do you replace your cables once in a while? LOL stompin on them instruments cables break them down, they loose impedance and will get thin sounding.. its always good to keep a new hi-quality one around!

I have several monster instrument cables, most of which are hardly used...so there's a steady rotation =D

Try some Mogami Cables. I am sold on them! George Ls are supposed to be the best though. I want to get a big roll so I don't have to buy anymore!

I use monster and George L cables...seems like you have another problem other than a 'cable' problem...sometimes these amps can be sensitive to low current draw from an ac outlet...try a voltage regulator?

Good point Uncle Tom,, I always seem to run a little lower on voltage when the goup is jammin with all the amps running, lights,, and the juccuzzzzzi is running, lol..
George L's, fast replacement with quick no solder ends. just grab some off that big ol spool and jam the ends on.. done deal. easy to do at gigs, even in the dark.

I heard those fast connectors aren't the most reliable though?
I found a place that sells mogami in bulk for cheap..I can get 60 feet for 25 bucks =D
