Has anyone tried or owned either a Tim/Timmy or Zendrive overdrive pedal? There seems to be a big craze over these overdrives and from what I have heard, the wait time to get one is anywhere from 8 to 10 weeks. The Tim/Timmy can only be bought direct from the maker Paul Cochrane and the Zendrive can be bought retail bought there is still a 2 to 3 month wait. The retail on these pedals is around $150 or so and they have been getting anywhere from $250 to $300 on ebay just because people have no paitience. If I were the maker I would sell them on ebay myself. What a bizzare scenario....

I haven't played through a zendrive but the guy who makes them "Alfonso Hermida" is a genius with effects. He modded and built a few fuzz faces for me and they both sound amazing. I would assume the Zendrive is just as good as his fuzz faces are.

TJ,
If I am not mistaken ALF lives in Miramar FL which is where I used to live. I am only about 1/2 hour from there now. I have a feeling I makes those pedals out of his house. I have been tempted to give him a buzz to maybe go over and try one out. Just the fact that I could flip the pedal on ebay and make $100 or more is worthwhile.
