Nut width to me is not that big of a deal.. I prefer 1 5/8 being my hands are small but 1 11/16 is fine as well. Anything bigger starts to become a little uncomfortable. You could build a guitar similar to that suhr from either warmoth or USA custom guitars (Tommy is the man) for probably less then half the price of the suhr. Its a little crazy to me that a strat style guitar by some makers are over $2000... I am building a USA custom tele that will be everybit as good as an anderson/suhr for much less $$$$. I am really digging that suhr though... $ is the route of all evil.....
