this thing is pretty rockin! I was surprised at the demon in the bridge..I thought Iw as gonna hate it since I used to with all my other amps, but it roars pretty good..different than my JB but it crunches pretty nice the strings are dead as hell...and the springs in the back are a litttle too tight for my liking..but I can fix that no problem...I'm used to the tension on my lynch... the lil screamin demons sound nice! and the neck one is coil tapped for that true neck/single coil sound.. I'm glad I bought this thing..the neck is very comfy..outside of some personal preference setup things (action, spring tension) it's juuuust right =D oh, and while there's a cutaway, it's not recessed underneath the floyd..which is fine by me...I don't have to worry about it goin' all outta whack if I break a string..lol

Do you find the SD in the bridge to have a real high end spike? I had a Demon in my Jackson (before the BBQ) and I thought I liked it for awhile, it sounded nice and clear (and great for volume roll offs) but after awhile I noticed the reason was that it put out so much high end that of course it would have that clear sparkle thing happening. I found I was too often trying to tame the highs in my amp. As opposed to the BBQ which has all the clarity but not that high end bitey thing.
I was just curious how you hear it.
Anyhow, your new ESP looks cool. Enjoy!

I might throw another bridge pup in there, eventually..sellin' one of my other pickups, so that'll pay for it..not sure what...I do love my JB, but I also dig the BBQ..wonder how that would sound in ash?

Glad your new axe arrived in one piece AND you're diggin' it. I'm gonna miss the gig report re:the new gtr. I have to pack up my computer for the big move, so I'll talk to you guys on the flip side (once I get up and running).

When I lived in Nevada we would put our ski suits on, motorcycle helmets and hook a rope to the hitch of my buddies truck and have him drag us through the streets. Tons of fun.
