I am a Marshall type guy through and through,but...I just got a Fender Twin for some clean/in between stuff.I really dig it as it is a totally different vibe.
It is what they call an"Evil Twin".Great clean channel, cool dirty in between channel, and a high gain channel that surprisingly sounds really good.I think Bruce Zinky designed these but I am not sure.
I have the old QR without seperate EQ so I was thinking of A/Bing between the Splawn and the Fender. We'll see.
I had played on a buddy's Splawn that had seperate EQ and the clean was excellent.I just don't have that luxury with mine.I don't know if I want to lug this thing around + a half stack set-up too.(Sometimes I use 2 4-12 cabs when the venue is big enough).
Does anybody else A/B with another amp?
I have done it before with less than desirable results. But now I have a Lehle switcher that is flawless (as opposed to my old Morley ABY POS)

Yes, I A/B with a jtm45, but I experience cross bleed. I use a custom made StarTouch box and have tried a few others (morley also). I resort back to just the Splawn. if you got a flawless A/B switcher, let me know how it works out. that may be what I need.

I will never find it... but ya never know, I did find my original univib and electric mistress flanger here a while back HAHAH.. foudn and Sold my original TS-808 for almost $500.00 thats was a nice suprise. sold the Roland space echo for $500.00 also.. about all the switches I have used gave me some form of cross bleed, ( or the dredded buzzzzz), rocktron had a patchbay thats was pretty good, but they quit making them because of cross talk problems in hi gain amps. so I never received one.

I haven't hooked them both up yet.I have a show tommorrow night and I'll just take the Splawn and the Plexi for backup.
The Lehle switcher is very good.I have used the Framptone also. They are both noiseless, unlike my Morley which popped and sucked tone.If you have a VHT valvulator it will restore your signal.I need to get one of those anyway cause I use a few pedals.............
