www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=440427This is some clips of my Mojave Peacemaker. I used an SM57 in to my Yamaha AW16G. I did these several months ago. I am going to try to get some good clips of my Splawn Marshall, but the Yamaha's preamp is so week, it doesn't do the amp any justice at all! Even though its not my Splawn Marshall, I just figured I would post them to see what you guys thought!

When I record the Splawn clips it will be done through some pro sounding stuff. I am looking at eventually getting a good mic pre with converter unit. I might do some clips through what I have, but I am going to wait until I get the Mansel Guitar. 3 weeks and counting........I hope! LOL ;D

Excellent playing Motrock. All the clips sound great. Not crazy about that effect though, what is that chorus? Ditch that and it be the ballsz.

You talking about Hot For Teacher? I only used a little delay on Hot For Teacher. The other clips are dry! The internal preamp of my Yamaha digital 8 track is junk. So that could be the sound that your hearing.

This thing is for the most part a 68 Plexi with a little more gain. Its non master volume, so the power tubes are where the gain is coming from. At some times, the Peacemaker can be too loud.............but that doesn't bother me! ;D

yeah, I know a little about the mojave stuff..was just curious what you thought of the sound of that as compared to the first gear on the QR considering they're both int the 'brown sound' camp...relatively speaking =D that bark at the moon clip definetly has the Jake E Lee vibe! good playing, man =) how would you compare first gear to the peace maker? I wouldn't really be able to tell you that until I was able to play the first gear. After Christmas I should be able to sell my Marshall and get the Quick Rod. I need more money. Isn't that the same story over and over...........I NEED MORE MONEY! LOL

Ok guys............Splawn Pro Mod (Marshall) clips hopefully tommarow! I recorded one tonight. I didn't have the backing track for the song. I recorded part of the song Long Way Home from Dokkens Disfunctional album.
