I know there aren't too many pedal junkies on this forum but I just gotta tell anyone theat is interested that I just picked up the coolest pedal ever! The EH Polyphonic Octave Generator (POG) is the most unique amazing pedal I have now and I own a lot ;D. It is a fairly big pedal with several sliders and switches for low-pass filters that can make regular sub-octave sounds, bass sounds, 12 & 18 string guitar sounds, and most amazingly organ sounds . I went to a top-end music store last night with my girlfriend to pick out a tremolo pedal for my x-mas present and ended up plugging into this thing for kicks. My jaw dropped after the first chord I strummed! I had been looking for a great keyboard sound for a long time but most stuff sounded digital and fake. This pedal is all analog warmth and if you weren't looking you would swear there is a pipe organ on stage! Needless to say the tremolo pedal will have to wait. I have it for a few days to fit it on my pedalboard and give it the run through to see if its what I really want then I have to give it back till x-mas. I am curious to hear it on the Splawn with distortion because I used a Bad Cat Trem30 amp on clean in the store. The only downside is ...its friggin expensive ($320), but completely worth it! I told my girlfriend that I may have to marry her now . I said that for most men, the way to a man's heart is through his stomach but for musicians its is through his gear (both sets) ;D.

I am recording with it tonight so I will see how it sounds in the studio. I will be using it more as an octave effect though.
