Ok, I'm so happy with my new Taylor purchase,, I went to Sam Ash today to buy strings for this weekends gigs and went into the "Taylor Room".. what I found makes me feel alot better about my purchase.. One of these guitars cost me $800.00 and is a 2003 model. One is a 2004 and was $2400.00 at Sam Ash. Both are USA made Taylors, both have solid Spruce tops, Ebony fingerboards and hardshell cases.. One has American Mahagony back.sides, the other has African Mahagony back/sides. I honestly can't hardly tell much difference... Guess which ones mine and which one is the $2400 model.

In know its amazing. I never get good deals on Ebay,, this was a weird occurence. I called Taylor to make sure I wasn't getting some cheap Mexican model, and the difference is the scarcity of the wood on the $2400 model. Who cares.. LOL.
the retail on the top one is $2600 the retail on mine is $1800.. mines on the bottom. I'm still in disbelief

Those 615 Jumbos are sweet.. I used to do side work at Weddings and restaurants sometimes. At one point I had a whole repertoire of Baroque stuff I could do. I'm anxious to get back into it. 3 years of Metal is wearing on me, I need some variety... LOL. Thats why I went with the Nylon Series.
