Guys, I am proud to say that hopefully by next week I will order my Mansel Guitar. I can't decide if I want the Yellow Bengal Tiger or the Purple Tiger? LOL The Purple Tiger is like $200 more, but that isn't a big deal. Both paint jobs look awesome, but the Purple Tiger just rocks. How are you digging your Mansel Craig?

i'm hijacking this thread to say that a few weeks ago i grabbed a suhr classic H/S/S/ strat...changed the bridge pickup to a Duncan Distortion and that guitar just screams and plays so great...(the suhr pickup was a little weak for my needs)...
those mansels are great also...motrock...i'd DEFINITELY go with the purple tiger...i think that looks SO cool!

I just ordered it a few hours ago. Called up Scott and did the deal. I have not decided on the paint job yet. When it comes time for it, I would imagine that I will get the purple tiger!

When Scott asked me what fret size and neck to get, I told him to get me what Craig got!

Hey man, sorry.. I been busy, and havent dropped by...
Cool, man, I friggin love this guitar. Awesome craftsmanship and it sounds amazing. If you told him to get what I got you'll be happy, I got the stainless steel frets and C-shaped neck. Its a great shape and really confortable. Didn't take me anytime at all to get used to it.

Great man! I told him that the neck should be like yours. Here is a list of what I am getting:
Gold Hardware GraphTech Graphite Flyod Rose String Savers Push/ Pull Volume Knob (to bypass the pickup selector and only allow the bridge humbucker to be active) Purple Tiger Paint Job
Those are the only differences from yours. How long did it take to finish yours?

Oh that sounds cool.. It took a while for mine as Mansel and McNaught were doing some renovation and moving during that time in their shop. It really depends on how busy they are. Worth the wait though!

I have no problem waiting! How much of a step up was it from your Wolfgang to this? I have a Wolfgang Special that I have been playing for about 7 years now. It just doesn't feel right anymore. I like the looks of a strat style guitar better!

I'm practically giving my Wolfie away, seriously, if anyones interested, its a USA custom shop Wolfgang and I'll sell it right now for $700 with case... please,, LMAO. I'm not selling my PRS's though,, hehehe.

Thats great man. All I have ever played was Wolfgangs! I used to have a Jackson and a couple of Ibanez guitars, but sold them all like 4 years ago. For some reason my Wolfgang just doesn't feel right anymore!
