Any opinions on either the David Bray marshall mod or the blockhead custom 50 amp in acheiving the classic VH sound comparrred to the splawn modded marshall or splawn quick rod amps? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks this is just my opinion obviously, but i listened to some of the bray clips and they didn't impress me at all for VH tone...and i haven't ever really heard the blockhead... what i have heard is the quick rod though and for VH tone there really is no better amp...i am truly not just saying that... a few weeks ago i had 2 fellow VH freaks running through my quick rod and they couldn't believe the tone coming out of it...it was VH tone. |
