Mojave Peacemaker 100 Watt Head Mojave 4x12 (G12H30s) Splawn Pro Mod Splawn 4x12 (Eminence Governor X Pattern) Peavey Wolfgang I am getting a new guitar of some kind. Thinking about one of Scotts Commando's or the new Dave Mansel Mahogony Strat's. I used to have another Wolfang, Jackson, and an Ibanez. Sold them to get the Mojave Peacemaker. Unloaded a little over $4,000 for the whole thing. I will say that the Mojave Peacemaker is the best amp I have ever played on. Nothing can get closer to the old school EVH tone like this thing. Just not versatile enough to gig with. If I took out my Splawn half stack and the Mojave halfstack I could use the Peacemaker for a couple tunes. The Pro Mod has everything in it. Less stuff to carry, and all I have to do is click a footswitch. Not that I am lazy or anything! LOL ;D

I listened to the peacemaker soundclips and do not hear Ed's sound at all. I don't know why people think that amp sounds like the old VH sound. IMO its not even close. Other then the splawn stuff listen to the "brown tone" clip at davidbray.com and thats pretty darn close also.

You can see my gear at www.bluestheater.net/gearjoneser.html There's 2 pages. There's no clips on there yet, but I'll get it together soon. Besides this mountain of toys, I've got some other stuff like a new Bassman LTD, and a cabinet full of mics.

I appreciate JCM800 posting his list. That's a sick collection! I was talking to a good friend who probably has more gear than all of us put together and told him that collecting guitars is like a freakin disease. He laughed and said "man, I hope there's no cure!"
