yep, those REH videos generally suck the butt..I have the Reb Beach one...lammmmeee i have that video shreder. The tool interviewing him is annoying, but i like the opening and closing jams. I didnt' learn a whole lot from it, except for how to do those ascending tapping runs he does. I got more out of it than a Marty F video from way back when those were the two best reasons to own the Reb video..black magic and the other tune that I can't remember the name of

EJ owns you all and you know it. There's no escaping it. He plays circles around you and you're anger about that will only suck you deeper into the black hole of misery that you currently reside in. EJ is the Jedi of guitar playing! The force is strong with him. ;D Maybe so but at least I don't have the tone of a "lettle girl." LOL D

When I finally saw them it was in the late '90s. They played an outdoor festival with many other bands. The band comes out. "Is that dude the roadie?" I asked myself. Then the dude starts playing. AAAHHrrr, it's Reb Beach..... Where's George. I left. Reb was good and all but that is burned into my mind. I when back and the dude from Great White was on stage, blowin' DD away with a guest spot on "Alone Again." Where's George

That's why every guitar magazine has interviewed him and made a cover story out of it when they discuss tone as he is considered to have "THE TONE" I would kill to play with tone like that guy. Lynch........every shredder from the 80's has tone like that. How many guys can you listen to and say they have tone that rivals EJ?

Yup, I don't cry like a "lettle girl" when I don't have Radio Shack batteries for my Chorus pedal. I would rather hear a cranked Splawn any day over EJ's tone. I don't think that you are wrong for liking it. It is just not for me. D

He has splawn tone. His lead tone is a cranked marshall. I run my Splawn very dark with almost no treble. You can totally achieve that sound with a stock Splawn.
