Ok,
So who was the worst band you have seen live?
I went to see Junior Brown and they had this band opening, The Avett Bros. They are kind of a local band around here. They were a failed punk band who met an MBA and now do a kind of “O Brother, Where Art Thou,” ‘30s punk now.
O Brother it sounded like @ss. Three guys bangin’ on acoustic guitars and screaming into the mic. They would send their girlfriends in to the audience to ask people if the wanted a free sticker and then try to sell them a CD.
All they do is marketing. They have just tons of crap to sell and they never stop promoting their pap. Naturally, lots of women like the group and the local DJ’s have drank the cool aid.
I don’t mind marketing. That is what I do. You just gotta’ know when to stop marketing and learn how to play.

Tons of bands I've seen were horrible. Stephen Pearcy sux live. He can't sing his way out of a paper bag. Vince Neil still can't sing in tune and they have their instruments tuned a whole step down to accomodate him. Have you ever heard him sing "Shout at the devil" live? EEEk!!! He sang maybe half the lyrics of the songs and was winded the rest of the time. Def leppard's Joe Elliot has to take the prize for the worst live singer in hard rock during the 80's. Honestly you could take Craig's lead singer and he would smoke any of the above mentioned on their own material any day of the week.
Oh BTW Davo. Junior Brown f'ing rules!! Love that guy. I've seen him several times and he's a great performer! Awesome guitar player!

You think you're mad too unstable, kicking in chairs and knocking down tables in a restaurant in a west end town, call the police there's a mad man around, running down, underground to a dive bar in a west end town. God I am Ghey!!! Why on earth do I know those lyrics!!

I just had to wade through a sea of Avett Bro sheot to get to the treasure on Junior Island.

Aerosmith.. May have been the Done With Mirrors tour. It was during that time when Joe Perry and Brad Whitford wasnt with them. Steven was sooo wasted. Didnt sing half the lyrics. Guitar player staggared around. KNocked the floor fan over on his side . Took him and a couple roadies to get him up. I remember I enjoyed the opener "Rose Tattoo" , even though I knew nothing about them. Afriend of mine saw Aerosmith a cpl years ago and said it was the best concert he had seen in a long time. Go figure...

I have to say some'm about this topic. My girlfriend and I went to see Areosmith and Motley Through, I mean Crue. Aerosmith smoked!!! I was just blown away! So much energy and musician ship, as well as showman ship. Anyway Motley Through, (sorry) Motley Crue just kind of stood around While Vince was try'n to hit thoughs high notes. Of course his voice was crack'n and strain'n. And there's the ole' screw up's coved up with "How you feel'n tonight!!" To funny!!!
