This will be great if Eddie can stay sober. I saw them on the 1st of 2 nights in St Louis on the last tour and it was terrible. Eddie was smashed and his timing was horrid. I left halfway through the show because it really bummed me out hearing him play like that. I had friends that went both nights and they said the 2nd night was WAY better. Michael Anthony has to be there for it to be a true reunion; none of the KISS nonsense of hiring replacements.
BTW The 1st time I saw VH was on the Women and Children First tour. It was my 2nd rock concert. KISS on the Dynasty tour was my 1st. I guess I am an old fart. haha

Michael Anthony a traitor? Sh1t, hes the only sane one in the bunch. That guys been f#cked 15 ways over by the VH bros. Trust me, EVH will totally screw this tour up by getting some no-name on bass or worse his son. If they don't get Mike on board it won't be a reunion... and frankly I'd rather see DLR solo with Brian on guitar who can actually play the old VH stuff.

again, i saw ed 4 times in 2004 and never thought his playing was par or below par...
that being said, this is more for closure on the band and not going to go see hot shot guitar playing....
for a VH fookin freak this is closure...and we need it...this is like the red sox winning the series in 2004....closure for the fans...
bring on the dates!

Didnt Ed make Michael give up all or most VH rights just to do the 04 tour? I agree with Craig,traitor he is is not. He has stuck by them thru thick and thin and contributed so much to their sound with his backing vocals. I love VH and hope this happens. Hopefully if it does their wont be an all out bar room style stage fight by the third show.

mike is a class act...hell i fookin wrote a thesis on mike and the 2004 tour which he read on line and thanked me about in person at the meadowlands.....BUT...i'm an "evhfan"...and whether that guys playing theaters or arenas i feel that i have to be there to support....
...plus, don't think for a second that mike won't be involved w/ this....
