Well Radio just plain sucks where I live, so I am cruising the country for radio stations that play cool stuff. Anyone else use streaming radio over the web to get decent jams? This one seems to rock decent at night. www.zchannelradio.com/list your links!

ya know, it's funny...I'm in jersey..between NYC and Philly..two big 'rock' towns right? or so they'd have you beleive!!! there's not one friggin' decent rock station around here..it's either country, 12 year old girl ghey boy rock (fallout boy, starting line, etc, etc) or it's friggin' hip hop....
we went to VA beach two years ago for vacation..there were better rock stations there than in this 'hub of rock towns' by which I live..
so screw it..I got Sirius satellite radio..lol..I'm DONE with regular radio...if I hear the same zepplin, nirvana or fly by night band song ten times in the same day I was gonna open a vein

Return immediately!!! My friend and dad have xm. Fidelity sucks, programming sucks. Boneyard (metal, arena rock station) is a joke. Robert Plant and the Honeydrippers on the metal station!? Love RP, hate xm. A friend says Sirius has the same fidelity and programming problems. The one: www.hardrockin80s.com/ They even take requests music.yahoo.com/

I had mine professionally installed, so it's tidy and works great.. Hair nation plays some good stuff..depends on the DJ...VH, DIO, Ratt, Dokken..AC/DC, some def leppard... hard attack is more extreme but still bust out with stuff I like..and stern rules =) as you can see, I'm a happy subscriber =D anywho, satellite is what it is....you can either deal with that or be at the mercy of the band du jour on the radio around here....

At least you can listen to Stern as he f@rts into the mic. HaHa. I was talking about the highs and lows being cut off. Compressed signal. cymbals sound like @ss on xm. I would not buy either, but if I got one for free I would go with Sirius. Glad you like yours. Try www.hardrockin80s.com/ . If you have wondered about a song or group and want to listen to them, request it and in about an hour your RAWKIN. Love it. Great...

Great... the tech'll get better as time goes on...it doesn't sound as good as a CD, that's for sure =D and streaming net music is also the future of radio....regular radio is dying more and moe quickly...

I got the sirius too, I notice on the hi end gear it does sound compressed and phased. but in the ol company car it sounds good. Hair Nation!! just about all I listen to.
I use a dell axim x51v, and stream audio all day to listen at work over the wireless. haha I look like a geek. but I get my music fix! Sirius is streamed over the web ! yea! Hair nation, all day, all night.
